A big thank you to everyone who supported this appeal during the CHI display in June. The magnificent sum of £150 was raised which will buy 15 solar lights for families in Rwanda who, without the advantage of electric light, have to manage to keep clean and healthy and the children reading and educated.

Knitters – don’t forget that blankets, jumpers etc are still very welcome and thanks to those who knitted the “wrist warmers”….these warm items are sent to “Mission Without Borders” a CHI affiliated Christian Charity based in Eastern Europe.

Finally I have had a special phone call from the Managing Director of CHI congratulating us on this wonderful result and thanking St Mark’s for our continuing support!

Best wishes
