On Friday 4th June both Immanuel PCC and St Mark’s PCC held our first joint social evening.

This was an excellent evening with some wonderful puddings to indulge in…. small confession here – I managed three different puddings on the evening! Despite having had my dinner too!

What was brilliant though, was how everyone just chatted and enjoyed each others company… puddings were definitely one of the main subjects of discussion but we also covered school uniforms, old school discipline and our rebellious teenage hood!

A big thank you to Dave North, Chris Dearden and Hilary Nickell for putting up the gazebos in the saturating rain on Friday morning.

Thank you also to Nicola, Sue Hooper and Clare Nunn for keeping us all Covid compliant while serving the Pimm’s and Puddings. Finally, thank you to everyone who made a pudding – they were absolutely delicious – I now need to resume running again in the morning!
