“Where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.”

Matthew 18: 20.

Well, there were more than 2 or 3 last Saturday, round about 20 people from both Immanuel, Hatch Warren and St. Mark’s, Kempshott as we gathered on a chilly, but DRY Saturday morning for our prayer walk around our new parish, as part of ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ and we certainly felt the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We started with a much needed cup of coffee at the Café in the Park and prayed as a large group and then went off in smaller parties  in a maximum of 6 people (to stay within Covid guidelines) around much of Beggarwood, Hatch Warren, Kempshott and Longacre. Everyone mixed really well and it was a very positive opportunity for people from both churches to get to know each other. We were delighted to see Councillor Dan Putty , the local councillor for HW and Beggarwood and to have him join the prayer walk.

Online Prayer Walk

Whilst we met  outside, Laurence lead and hosted a very successful on-line prayer walk, which gave people chance to pray for Kempshott and their own local areas, which was a very joyful & prayerful session.
My thanks to everyone who helped and especially to everyone from both churches who turned up, in person or to the online prayer walk.

If you couldn’t join us on Saturday and would like a copy of the booklet which includes the routes and prayer pointers please click here.
Many blessings
