The cairn is growing, and we now have a request for 400 stones for children at the junior school to take part.
This morning Bishop David came to lay his stone (in the rain!) and look at some of the stories we have collected so far displayed in the entrance hall.
“It’s very special to lay a remembering stone on the cairn at St Mark’s Church. Reading the stories of vulnerability, courage and resilience is both inspiring and moving. In this difficult year, it is good to find places where we can pause, remember, and gain strength for what lies ahead. I do pray that the God of all grace will meet with you..”Bishop David
