Due to Covid-19 (novel coronavirus) some activities on this page may have been suspended or changed.

We can help you say goodbye to your loved one by offering hope, compassion and ongoing pastoral care. Funerals can take place at St Mark’s church, the local crematorium or cemetery. We can also help you with a celebration service should this be what you decide to do. It’s up to you if you contact us directly or ask your funeral director to liaise on your behalf.

During the current restriction, we understand the difficulty in not being able to attend the funeral and say goodbye. Here is a short reflection for you to read at home.

We have a special section in our Garden of Remembrance that’s open for ashes to be interred. A plaque can be displayed with the name of your loved one. We can also record their name in the Book of Remembrance which is kept in the church.

“I love sitting in the Garden of Remembrance. It’s so peaceful and beautifully kept. Sometimes it’s just what I need.”

In accordance with the diocese, please be aware that services are subject to fees. If you’d like more information, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with the church office.
