Many of us had time to notice the small wonders of the natural world in a new way during lockdown, and our all-age series of services over the summer hopes to help us continue to engage in this.
With the easing of restrictions we hope to see some more of our church family again and plan to make use of indoor and outdoor space to explore what the Bible says about our relationship with the natural world and its Creator. Do come and join us, young or old, whether you’ve been recently or haven’t been to St Mark’s for ages—you’re very welcome!
Our first session is this Sunday and the series will run for six weeks over the summer. Though it’s not possible at the moment to film the various interactive activities, we will be live-streaming the first section of each Sunday. This week you should also be able to listen in to the discussion too, or you might prefer or simply download the study/discussion questions to ponder at home.
Thanks to the generosity of the Basingstoke Science Centre we have the loan of bug boxes, magnifiers, pooters, nets, spotting guides and even a couple of microscopes to use.
