First of all a HUGE thank you to everybody who was able to make a contribution to our Technology Fund. So far we have paid out for a new laptop for the Live-Streaming Tech (aka Frances’ husband, Steve) to drive the show; along with the new camera which we are using for most of the visual work (Steve occasionally boosts the show with an additional phone camera). Then there is a joystick used to control the camera, any amount of cabling and adapters and some software. Through your incredible generosity we have just been able to cover the cost of all this technology from the Fund.

However, we don’t have much left in the kitty and there is still the potential for future developments as we learn, grow in confidence, and explore new approaches and features.

So, what I’m trying to say is, it’s not too late to make a donation to the Fund if you are able.

The best way to do this is through the Parish Giving Scheme because they handle all the tax rebate for us. Just phone up the PGS Office on 0333 002 1260 and ask them to adjust your next payment as a one-off. Simple! Or you can pay by cheque if you prefer (please let Christopher know it’s for the Technology Fund). Or you can donate via our website: either click this link or just look for the “Donate Now” button on the top right of the home page.

And thank you again for your faithful generosity to all the work of Saint Mark’s.
