It is that time of year again….. when we need to ask if anyone feels able to volunteer with weeding the Phase 1 Garden of Remembrance!
It is a very special area in our church grounds – where we have memorial stones, flower beds and many, many visitors each week who stop by, to sit quietly and remember their loved ones. At present, however it is looking rather unkempt!
We are incredibly fortunate to have an amazing Mowing team who take it in turns to mow all the grassed areas in our church grounds (when its not pouring with rain!) But, we are in desperate need of a few volunteer weeders to keep the Garden of Remembrance looking neat and well-loved. This does not need to be on a strict rota basis or at any set time during the week, but if you feel you can spare a few hours whenever suits you, here and there over the next few months, that would be fantastic!
If you feel that you could help, please contact Kim in the office or myself
